Friday October 4th, 2024 – (St. Vincent and the Grenadines) –– The CARICOM Development Fund (CDF) signed a grant agreement with the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines for additional financing of approximately EC$675,000 or US$250,000 from its Enhanced Emergency Disaster Assistance Facility (EEDAF) to assist recovery efforts following the devastating impact of Hurricane Beryl on July 1st, 2024.
Kingston, Jamaica, December 1st, 2023 – Eighteen Disaster Management professionals from across the Caribbean came together for CDEMA’s CDM Blueprint Regional Capacity-Building Workshop hosted in Kingston Jamaica, to chart a resilient path forward for the region. As CDEMA works to advance the implementation of the CDM Blueprint, the workshop provided participants with a forum for knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and engagement to strengthen the mechanism.
