Heavy Rainfall in St Vincent and the Grenadines and Saint Lucia - Situation Report # 1 AS OF 6.00 pm on Saturday 06th 2014

Message: Torrential Rains from a trough system caused flooding, landslides and damage to housing and infrastructure in St Vincent and the Grenadines and Saint Lucia . The E.T Joshua Airport in St Vincent and the Grenadines flooded and has been closed until further notice.

Situation Report #1 - Tropical Storm Gonzalo as of 3.00p.m October 13, 2014

Message:

Tropical Storm Gonzalo continues to strengthen as it moves across the Northern Leeward Islands. At 2.00 pm today, October 13, 2014 Tropical Storm Warnings remain in effect for Antigua and Barbuda, Anguilla, Montserrat and St Kitts/Nevis. A Hurricane Warning is in effect for the British Virgin Islands and a Hurricane Watch for Anguilla.

Situation Report #2 - Hurricane Gonzalo as of 5:00 pm October 15, 2014

Message:

Hurricane Gonzalo impacted five (5) CDEMA Participating States but to date there have been no requests for CDEMA’s assistance or support.

Floods Trigger Partial Activation of Trinidad and Tobago National Emergency Operations Centre – Situation Report 1 – as at 2.00pm , November 17, 2014

MESSAGE: Flooding in several communities across Trinidad and Tobago (TT) resulted in partial activation of the National Emergency Operations Centre

THE SITUATION:
Trinidad and Tobago has been experiencing continuous rainfall from November 13 -16, 2014 which has resulted widespread flooding in several communities. Water levels in the larger rivers such as the Caroni river and smaller river courses particularly in North Eastern and Central Trinidad over spilled the banks.
