BVI News.com, BVI, January 29th, 2013 - The Department of Disaster Management (DDM) in conjunction with the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA); under the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States-European Union (ACP-EU) project will be having a community meeting in Anegada on February 4 at 4pm at the Emile Dunlop Community Center. This meeting, which is a follow-up activity to the CERT Training that was held in November 2012, seeks to develop a Community Disaster Plan for Anegada.

This will be done through an interactive consultative process where community representatives (including those trained in the November 2012 CERT workshop) will be brought together to share their views. The input will be captured and the community plan developed using a template which was designed by the ACP-EU project.
