Main Objectives Within the first component of the SAT, the assessment of risk, is given attention to the performance of the Studies of Hazard, Vulnerability and Risk (HVR). The methodology of this research in Cuba was reviewed and enriched in what refers to the social area and perception studies, which was approved by the Scientific Advisory Board of the Environment Agency (AMA) and the Group of Experts of Social Aspects in PVR Studies. For the first time, it is systematized in a single document and the relevant aspects of the risk perception study methodology, the population survey and the instructions for its application are published; The inclusion of the gender approach in the study was also highlighted.
