Kingston, Jamaica, 26 August 2013 (UWI) - UWI Consulting Company in conjunction with the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development and the Trinidad and Tobago Coalition of Service Industries is hosting a workshop on Trade Policy, Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability from 19th to 20th September 2013 at the Kapok Hotel, Port of Spain.
The aim of the workshop is to strengthen the capacity of the public and private sector as well as academia and non-governmental organizations to analyse and assess trade and climate change governance scenarios, formulate negotiation positions and identify strategic options to inform policy-making and enterprise development.
