CDEMA launches new Logo at CDM Conference

In rationalizing the new Agency logo Ms. Andria Grosvenor, Alliance and Cooperation Services Manager of CDEMA stated the logo represents the new direction of the Agency and Comprehensive Disaster Management in the region. She explained that this new branding “comes as the region is poised to launch the new CDM Strategy 2014-2024 and as CDEMA embarks on the implementation of its new Strategic Plan.”

The logo is a graphic statement of strength, growth and purpose, with vibrant colours reflective of life, hope and the diverse characteristics of the Caribbean and its people. The accompanying tagline “Resilient States. Safer Lives” fully compliments this visual and symbolic representation, which speaks to the CDEMA’s commitment to being people-centered in promoting Comprehensive Disaster Management throughout the Caribbean.Unveiling of the new CDEMA logo by the Deputy Prime Minister of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique and Minister of Legal Affairs, Labour, Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs & Local Government, the Hon, Elvin Nimrod and Executive Director of CDEMA, Mr. Ronald Jackson.

The new Agency branding was unveiled by the Deputy Prime Minister of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique and Minister of Legal Affairs, Labour, Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs & Local Government, the Hon, Elvin Nimrod and Executive Director of CDEMA, Mr. Ronald Jackson.
